John Losee
After many years of teaching at Lafayette College and establishing myself as an author of nine thought-provoking philosophy books. I decided to try my hand at creative writing. I embraced a new role as a storyteller. Inspired by the rhythms of modern life, I set out to craft engaging, humorous short stories that can be devoured in the time it takes to sip a cup of coffee. The Adventures of Max and Maude is my first work of fiction.
In Millwood Stories, I continue to create bite-sized tales that reflect the humor and complexity of life, offering quick escapes into a world where ordinary moments unfold into extraordinary adventures. This format, I believe, resonates with the fast pace of today’s world – perfect for readers seeking an enjoyable and satisfying break.
In The Sabbatical Sleuth, I invite readers to follow the exploits of a professor who joins a detective agency on a leave of absence from his university. He turns out to be rather good at this new job. This collection of short stories is another window into the happenings of Millwood. Readers will be surprised by the turn of events.
With a keen eye for human emotion and a playful sense of adventure, my stories aim to bring a spark of joy to readers from all walks of life.
